Created using data collected by the JunoCam imager aboard NASA’s Juno spacecraft, this animation is an artist’s concept that shows a view of a mountain on moon lo. The data was recorded during close flybys of the moon in December 2023 and February 2024. The mountain, which the Juno science team has nicknamed “Steeple Mountain,” is between 3 and 4.3 miles (5 and 7 kilometers) in height.

Bio signatures will always be debated due to measurement capability / issues and unknown ways that they could be produced.
What we really need is the detection of techno signatures.

Habital Worlds Observatory is the most likely means to detect reliable techno or bio signatures.
Due to be built by and launched in the 2040’s, it will collect spectra and directly image around 40 planets that are the best candidates for earth like worlds.
NASA funding in a flux at the moment of course needs to be factored in.
