Yeah it’s pretty amazing that only 30 years ago we hadn’t discovered any.

Also we should know and celebrate that one of the people leading this effort at NASA is an Aussie woman.

Dr. Jessie Christiansen, the Chief Scientist of the NASA Exoplanet Science Institute. Dr. Christiansen works with missions like Kepler and TESS and is involved in planning for future NASA missions, focusing on detecting and characterizing planets outside our solar system. She is recognized as one of the most successful woman planet hunters globally

Ms frosty junior went and saw a talk by her a few years back when she was in school, which was pretty exciting for her.

Previously posted this talk of hers. Some might find it interesting.

Ship 38 stacked for static fire testing. Hopefully goes well and flight 11 in a few weeks.

Very few experimental or missing tiles. Hopefully no burn through like previous flights.

Interesting little interview with Jared.

He mentioned the unspeakable of NASA astronauts trying to kill crew and open the hatch on previous missions.

Always been rumors of this but no one of note actually saying it to my knowledge.

2025 new astronaut class.

Can someone bump please.

Bump supplied.

And while being bumped consider this achievement of what anyone these days would consider primitive technology:

Not aware of it.

I just looked it up. Lol at it being an animation.

So, still on schedule to enter a black whole before returning to earth as a sentient machine within a gas cloud that threatens to destroy Earth?

Better make sure humpbacks don’t go extinct.

Some awesome photography and video of the SpaceX falcon 9 launch of NASA’s IMAP mission.

This mission sends 3 probes to the sun-earth Lagrange 1 point to monitor the Sun and the earth to observe CME’s and the effect on earths magnetosphere.

Cool mission which is a part of 5 NASA missions to monitor the sun and its effects on earth which includes the Parker probe.

Great video capturing the falcon 9 transit the sun during takeoff.

And some great picks of it too.

Nice photos, I bet the photographers were wishing for it to be that tiny bit to the right to be perfectly centred

NASA’s firing rockets at the sun? Are they mad? They’ll blow up the whole galaxy!

You say that like it would be a bad thing.

But our draft picks!

We barrack for Essendon and it would put us out of our misery. It would be a good thing. Trust me.

They must be mad! They could have just used Heffgirl’s cannon.
