They’ve brought midi-chlorians back.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. Maybe a clone army of Sith Lords?

All good, mando and Cara () will take care of them in 40 odd minutes.

Snoke’s theme was playing during that scene

Season 2 is a significant step up, for me.

S1 knew what it wanted to be but fell short. Feels organic now. Great CGI and support cast.

I take it you haven’t watched much SW. The ST are an embarrassment, cannon fodder.

Hi all. Seen Mando season 1 and upto date on season 2. It’s visually very nice, good action and I like some storylines. Seems like it’s an old age western saga, bloke comes to town, town has a problem, bloke fixes problem & goes on his merry way again.
I hope they get to the flipping point sooner rather than later.

I’m finding it quite tedious in large parts, tbh. It can’t work out what it’s trying to be, or who it’s aiming for, or where it’s trying to get to. S1 was better so far, and it wasn’t great.

It may be that I don’t know much of SW outside the original trilogy, but this one feels very poorly paced and kinda pointless.

it needs a consistent director through. not bryce dallas-howard.

If you get in deep with legends, the aftermath books and some extended cannon, it’s bloody brilliant.

They respect the source material so much more than the sequel trilogy did.

I love this series.

they shouldn’t have

The Mandalorian feels very much like a live action version of their cartoon series (Clone Wars, Rebels), it’s a lot of fun to watch.

Just treat it like popcorn entertainment to watch and don’t expect too much for the story.

I also love the theme song, doesn’t sound like much but it’s got such a catchy beat and tune.

Well that episode ‘The Jedi’ was the best piece of live action Star Wars since they completed the final scene of ROTJ in the 80’s.
Dave Filoni stays true to the heart beat if Lucas’ vision.
That was a lot of fun.

Yes.

The first battle set the tone for the rest of the ep.

Loved it.

…but…it’s kind of getting to the point where we need to see Boba or something else big.

I won’t spoil it for those that haven’t seen it, but there was a massive name drop of the key head villain.

If you’ve seen Rebels and read TEU, ■■■■■ about to get real very soon.

This show really isn’t additional Skywalker saga content. This is clone wars, rebels and books cannon.

Think of it as another story in the same universe.

I get that,
But in episode 1 of this Erie’s we saw Mando recover Bobas armour, and then we saw a guy that looked like Boba.

Also, we have to get back to whatever the Moff was doing scientific experiments on Navarro.

Then we wasted 2 episodes with frog lady, and space spiders.

I wouldn’t say that, we needed the frog lady, to find ————- to then find ——— to reveal the big bad.
