Hard to make much from the trailer other than that gerbil. Let me guess, it will save the day, or perhaps take out an unsuspecting storm trooper.
Rogue One seemed to be a long way from what was hinted in the trailers, and apparently they changed the ending significantly because of some pre final edit feedback.
The thing i loved about Rogue One was how real it felt.
This one feels a little CG. Thoughts?
It means nothing.
Hand reaching out from one scene. Reaction shot from another. Voiceover from a third. Cut it together… audience panic.

What about the middle part where the bombed that base?
And the ending was kind of dumb too, until DV cut loose.
In the trailers they made out that the female character was some kind of assassin bad ■■■, and then she wasn’t.
For me the very end was awesome. Because it left zero gap to the next movie, OG Star Wars, a new hope.

Or is it? Maybe that’s the exact scene and they just want us to think it’s an editing trick…

Lately l have been limited to one movie a month. Bladerunner 2049 last month, Thor last night, Star Wars next month. Good fun trilogy.

Those ridiculous childish walking ‘war machine’ contraptions are one of the most ludicrous concepts in sci-fi.
