Ever had one of those tooth extractions where the tooth gets jammed or cracked, and what originally was expected to be a routine dental procedure takes 10 times as long, with the dentist ending up with a monstrous pair of pliers, standing on your chest, his sweat dripping on your face, cutting away at your gums and graunching your jaw every which way then probing deep into the bone matrix to remove every tiny bit of the fractured tooth ?

Getting Stringer out of the kennel is worse than that.

We need to be over talking to SOS. Its sounding like Carlton might be getting #10 and #16 off Adelaide (for Gibbs and a 2018 second). SOS needs an early second for Kennedy, #25 would be perfect. Offer #25 and #30 to Carlton for #16, and send #16 to the Doggies for Stringer.

If we do the deal, we might even get a 3rd rounder back from Carlton…

We should be talking to SOS, but only if we are saying:

“Remember the 1993 grand final, and how you had a tantrum on the goal line?”. Even if it costs us picks/players, just remind him of that again.
