I would avoid thinking what their endgame is


If these guys are extreme radicals they would already have accepted their deaths, which makes this a very scary situation.

That this a hostage situation, rather than a straight attack, means there is some hope.

Because if we know what they are planning then we can appropriately defend and strategize around it.
