Team named for 2020 round 3 vs Melbourne

Big week for the forwards with Fanta now a certainty to come in next week. Don’t mind the conservative approach but with the training reports being so positive expected him in.

Jones has been terrible for over a year if anyone has watched Melbourne consistently

I think would have only been one change (mckenna) if no injury to heppell

but Ham and Fantasia were close

Glad Phillips added to emergencies.

No fantasia? Bit disappointed. Can play a flankers roll ala Zaharakis for example.

I don’t think it’s because they can’t find a spot for him. They just don’t want to rush him or think he’s ready.

No Mick Hibberd in for the Dees.

Their changes seem to highlight the fact they know they need to be a bit quicker against us so they don’t get beaten on the outside.

Then we put in Ham and Mckenna haha. Poor ■■■■■■■.

Why would anyone do that?

Did they find a replacement “guy who gives a ■■■■”, though?

Melbourne might have finally worked out that playing 11 inside mids doesn’t make a balance side.

Dees only have 1 key forward

well it’s official, no matter how badly Zaka plays he won’t get dropped. He doesn’t have pictures, he has full length videos.

Not rushing in Fantasia is a good move.

Playing Zaka is not.

Happy to have Ham & McKenna in

I had a feeling when squad first named they’d give Raz another week despite him blitzing at training today.

Spewin’ for Hep.

But we certainly have improved our run with McKenna & Ham in, and would have to be the overall plan to beat them with run as we aren’t going to do it at contest.

Zaka you are lucky. Fire up kent!

Yeah wow. I’ll be very interested to see how we match up with them given our tall backline. No doubt Hurley will be mismatched up with Pickett or someone lol.
I guess it’s not all that much different to last week.
Fritsch and Melksham tend to be able to play taller than their height suggests.
They’d have the option of playing Joel Smith forward who is a tall and just have May and Lever play as the two key talls. But usually they like freeing Lever right up.
