I love how it's tough to get in. In the past Hams, Langford, Laverde, Edwards, Smack, Giles, Fantasia would've all probably got a game already. No more gifting games.

I any case I think the almost “no changes” is to reward the boys who brought it home against the hawks. Hird said twice in the vid that “Gwilt was stiff” (direct quote).

Hard to replace anyone in that team such was the effort, will be interesting to see how stable the lineup remains against the pies. I recall bomber last year saying Chappy could either play one or the other, but that was with a shorter break.

Most pleasing thing is that Gleeson and Ashby continue to be regulars in the best 22. Posted pre-season 2 or 3 from the group of third and fourth players to be best 22 to ensure improvement.
