I’m warming to the Flying Viking.

looking like there could be some good picks for us in the 20s, hope we get crafty with live trading out/in around the kako bid

How the hell is Brisbane going to manipulate the system to get Levi Ashcroft and their other academy player with picks 15 and a 3rd rounder?!?

The AFL will give them 2 hours to live trade in picks before announcing draft changes that no one is allowed to bid on Brisbane’s academy

no one will probably bid on Ashcroft until hes outside top 5. That would help the most.
I guess they will have to go into deficit.

Brisbane are trying to trade in Rosas Jnr too.

Hmmm.

He’ll be a stretch at 9 won’t he?

Yeah potentially, I think there’ll be several really good options for us that will also tick a needs box.

Interesting seeing Cal have Trainor sliding to 16 in his latest rankings, with Langford now only behind Ashcroft.

If we want Lindsay we could trade back and get another pick in the 30s for the kako bid.

A lot of Zach Merrett about that disposal. We need a lot more of that in our side.

He around the mark for our first pick?

Jack Zeibell played almost 300 games and was captain for 6 years. I’d take that any day from a first round pick.

Ranked at 18 by Cal.

I want Josh Smillie.

Sounds injury prone Sam Lalor

A high-grade hamstring injury soured the end of Lalor’s season, seeing him sit out the Rebels’ finals run and be sidelined for up to 10 weeks. That will rule the powerful and explosive midfielder/forward out of testing at the Draft Combine as well and comes off a season with some injury difficulties scattered through it.

Means he might fall to our pick.
If he was fit we wouldn’t be in the equation.

Look at the size of Smillie. Cripps 2.0.
