I completely agree with this.
I don’t mind losing my money on tips I it’s my money to lose. I am also massively up over the years. I hate it when I give a tip and they lose. The winners do go in ebbs and flows though.
With my tips I try and say big bet (meaning good odds relative to what my bloke thinks the chances are, or he is really confident), but there is never a guarantee. Versus when I say medium / little bet usually meaning over the odds or something I like personally but really not that confident.

Hit a couple at decent odds yesterday - Midnight in Toyko & Royal Supremacy - both at about ~15/1 which made for a profitable day..!!

Not a recommendation, just saying that I’m on Winnasedge in the 7th at Flemington.
Coming back from a long break. Trialled well.
Carrying 8kg less than its last race and beat some pretty decent types and placed in a Group Race last year.
I’m treading very lightly.. but in 5 minutes, a mate in WA reckons Mandurah r5 Aston Nero $6.50 is the way to go.
