Aus cricket team has hit the wall. Downhill from here… feels like nothing good coming up.
Well, the way I see it, only a few batsmen failed…but that’s probably because we only have a few in the team.
And then an (alleged) all rounder at 5, a wicket keeper at 6 and another all rounder at 7.
Maybe, given the quality of our bowling attack, we could get rid of at least one of the all rounders and bring at least one more actual batsman.

You make a fair point.
I was uncomfortable with Lawry’s selections for that reason. I don’t like Carey at six and I like Webster at seven even less.
Webster isn’t nearly a good enough bowler to force that line-up on us. He bats six, he’s good enough to bat six, or he doesn’t play at all.
I’m not captain Shield, but I feel like there are other batsmen that can roll their arm over.
Cummins, Starc, Lyon, Hazlewood are 8, 9, 10, 11.
Rotating Boland and a young tearaway (and given the approaching cliff, that last seems very important) and giving Rocco a chance.
Carey 7.
Genuine batsman at six. Preparing him for three or four later, as we’ve always done.
TL;DR We’ve completely botched an opportunity with this series.

6 best bats, a keeper, and the 4 best bowlers. It works. It has always worked. If one of the bats can bowl 8-10 overs an innings, excellent. Green can do that, so there’s no need to shoehorn Beau Webster into the team at 7. I like him but I don’t think there’s a spot for him.
Anyhow… Gotta respect Bangladesh’s fight with the ball, even if our batting is putrid.

This Strayan team is so poor. I honestly think even with the massive mental midget debuff New Zulland get whenever they play us, the kiwis will pinch a test or two when they come over.
