In cricket, an umpire can recall a batsman who has walked off the field under the impression that they are out. The umpire will signal a dead ball to stop the fielding side from taking any further action and then call the batsman back. The batsman can be recalled until the ball is about to be delivered, unless it is the last wicket of the innings.

Head flashes hard at Rana and a thick edge goes between keeper and a wide first slip for 4. Travis now riding his luck. Next minute he gets another ball fine, 4 more.
What annoyed me was the ump gave it after he started to walk. Almost like the ump just assumed because he walked it was out. Umps should only call it out if they actually think it is. Otherwise just say not out.

Iām a fully badged umpire so yes that is true but I think Marsh genuinely believed he was out and the umpire had given him out so he walked off. Marsh was entitled to stand his ground and ask for a review but I think he hit his pad with bat and maybe has felt like he knicked it
I just saw a slo mo and the ump appeared to put his finger up and then Marsh walked.
Hopefully they show it again to be sure
