Is that the first bouncer we’ve bowled?

This explains it pretty well IMO.

I’d be getting Lyon on now. Or Pat for another crack.

How can you play and miss so farking often without getting an edge !!? Amazing.

Starc bowling very well, without any luck.

This changing the bails ■■■■ needs to stop. Nobody should be allowed to touch the stumps (aside from runout and stumping chances) except for the umpires.

Massive if there.

I’d be happy if I never heard Langer’s voice ever again.

I’d take em off, hold them behind my back , shuffle, put them back on. Then if the batsman is that superstitious about this nonsense he can ponder on whether they’re right or wrong

Lyon coming on for Boland.

If we’re any chance of winning, Lyon has to take wickets

I’m struggling to work out how that’s umpire’s call. Solid hit on line, solid hit on height.

Jaiswal sweeps Lyon with power for 4.

Lyon wouldn’t mind it in the slightest.

either you trust and use the technology or you don’t

if the technology says the ball is hitting then it’s hitting

we’ve seen where an umpire’s call has been clearly wrong, so that suggests there is even less reason to refer to the umpire’s call - how is that better than the technology?

Cummins replaces Starc.

This is the combo we need at the moment. Pat for 4-5 overs of his best, Lyon to hold.

Has there been a worse effort from a visiting skipper than Shawarma? Elgar embarrassed himself when South Africa came last time too.

The fact India will likely retain the BGT despite Shawarma’s ineptitude is staggering.

It was the correct interpretation of a bad rule
