Doesn’t Murphy concede too many runs to give the quicks a good long rest?
I don’t mind the concept of umpire’s call, but on some aspects it’s just ridiculous, particularly where it’s counted as pitching outside line if less than 50% of the ball pitches inside the line. I’ve seen a few where they really split hairs and call about 45% outside line as 50%.
Make it 25% rather than 50%. Now that I’ve retired, batting left-handed, it makes no difference to me.
The other I’d change…if it’s umpire’s call on both impact and pitching, but judged to be hitting the stumps and not umpire’s call…that’s good enough.
