Sweeney Todd electing to stand right in front of the stumps, inviting the bowlers to attack his pads so he can flick it around the corner. If his eye fails him he’s cooked LBW but working so far.

McSweeney uses his feet to get to the ball and drives beautifully though the covers for 4. Next ball he rocks on to his back foot and pulls through the onside, for another 4. Looking more composed. Bumrah coming back on.
There was a little bit of Ponting in that last pull shot. Stood up on the ball nicely and took it early in front of midwicket.

McSweeney with another cut gets the ball through Gill for another 4. Poor fielding. Bumrah didn’t come back as l previously advertised. must be due soon. Rana toiling away, putting the ball in the same spot, bowl after bowl. The trouble is it is outside off stump and bother batters just watch it cruise by, without any shot being played.
