I fielded at silly mid-on, but only to 2 of our bowlers, they were spot on and bowled a good length, which is essential to continued good health. I never wore pads and probably should have worn a helmet, especially 2 days after getting out of hospital and surgery on a depressed fracture of the cheek, (but rarely did).

To be fair Sri Lanka have actually played some good test cricket the last year without the results, but yeah pretty underwhelming bowling performance albeit on a road

Umpires have said not out to every appeal so far.
The only thing might have saved Smith was the bounce, which wasnât there. The ball just went straight on with the arm and through the gate, a good nut from Vandersay. Aus 3/401. Inglis in.
