I remember boonie keeping in the world cup many years ago.
Low relevance I realise.
Was in 1992. Dropped a catch too.

Punter took the gloves once or twice early in his career when the keeper (I assume Healy) was forced off the ground.
It is really only a problem if it happens in game. If not a replacement keeper can be flown in from Australia before the next game usually.

Buck has the moves!!!
Not sure we've got one.
Would Clarke have kept in case of an injury?
Wade would have been flown to wherever for the next Test though.
Warner was mentioned by Clarke ( in an article about Hughes keeping when Haddon or Wade was off) that Warner is an option.
Presumably they'd play with 10 and a sub and get one on the plane? EDIT: If it happened before first dig. And otherwise just play with 10 & a sub the whole game with the injured bloke batting.
Who has been Australia's reserve keeper over the last few overseas ventures?

Anyway...did Canada's keeper get injured or something?
Well, Ashish Bagai retired. Canada's most capped player. I don't think he was injured though.
Absolutely hilarious stuff, fair summary of the series
quoting correctly is a legal imperative
coulter nile is a fkg prospect. cant wait to see what he can do for aus

I'm at work and literally have to stop myself from laughing too loud.
"Bairstow took to it like a duck taking to architecture."
Nice turn of phrase. That article shows how much disarray the Poms were in right through. Pulls no punches, they have many issues they need to address. l would hope that if Australia ever find themselves in such a position they would band together better to fight rather than just disintegrate.
Putrid, putrid lbw on Laughlin late last night.coulter nile is a fkg prospect. cant wait to see what he can do for aus

Ball never even got on line of leg and none of the commentators went too far on the ump.

One of the reasons I cant get into the T20 crap, its a gimmick game and it shows how mickey mouse the stuff is when they are more worried about the game moving on quickly than pausing for 10 seconds to get the correct verdict by a review system. Ive only watched a couple of games this season and seen half a dozen LBW's that wouldnt of hit a second set of stumps, wides called off balls clipping the thigh pad and no balls being constantly missed. Not good enough.
Not to mention a wicket that was given out caught behind, despire the fact the only person who appealed was the wicket keeper and that was just a slight lift one hand. Replays showed the player had missed the ball by about a foot. The bowler was rather amused and bemused while the batsman was flabbergasted.

The one given against Shah was bad enough, that was sliding down leg slide, but you could at least make an argument that it might have clipped leg stump.
The one given against Laughlin was complete bullshit, and I think the commentators knew it because they didn't even take a look at a replay probably because they knew they were going to have to bag the umpire if they did take a lookn at it.
Good to see Davy Warner putting the Jaapies to the mental sword by declaring they are "on the back foot as players". Cop that, South African dogs!

Considering our best bat in the 1st innings was our #7, I think our top order should shut their ******* mouth.
I read a stat yesterday that of all our 1st innings runs, Haddin was at the crease for something like 45% of them. Incredible!!!
that guy is a mental midget. geebus.
And I see there's a me or him stoush brewing between Flower and Pietersen...
