The AFL are poking us in the ■■■ in this fixture.

That’s 3 of the top 4 teams from this year. We shouldn’t be favorites in any of those matches. It’s a very tough way to start the season.

It ain’t called the fix…ture for nothing.

Give it time.
We’ll find something to complain about.

I don’t think it matters when we play top 4 teams. If we’re lucky we beat 1 or 2 of them. Anything more will be a great season.

How the ■■■■ do the dogs get an easier fixture than us considering they made the grand final?

What a joke the AFL is

if we finish outside the 8 that’s going backwards imo will show me that nothing has change

The next step is to win a final

I think it would show that our fwd line particularly around the talls isn’t sufficient / ready yet

A lot on the shoulders of Jones as a 3rd year kpf and Francis/Baldwin

Doesn’t mean we weren’t still on the right path however.

May just have to go backwards to go forwards still.

why we have trouble scoring is because all our scoring chains started from half back or wining the centre clearance imo

We need to score by locking the ball in our forward half and also from stoppages around the ground

This is just one mans subjective analysis. He even contradicts himself in his own assessments. Take for example his assesment of a Richmond double up in our analysis v Carlton.

Essendon - Oh, and then throw in Richmond, who are sure to be better in 2022.

Carlton - Then they get the Dockers and Tigers, who finished in the two spots directly above them on the ladder; so while both may improve, particularly Richmond, on 2021 form it’s not an imposing pairing.

From what the players were saying after the final and during the pre season dosent sound like a team that is happy on how they finished

They’ll be aiming to win a final and anything less if a failure imo

I’m picturing you warming up with a bit of this saying boo-urns!

Even when they were ■■■■, we still lose to them. At least next year we have to goes to end the streak.

Don’t think we’ll get a visit to that ■■■■ hole until they’ve completed the new dogshit stand. Fancy spending that much for the new stands to be just as bad as the old ones.

Now that I think about Gill is like “you can have 8 games in Melbourne in a row but you get the second hardest fixture”

Once again the AFL screwed us over

I wouldn’t be getting too caught up on how tough our draw is based entirely on somebody’s opinion.

I don’t think it is that bad at all

I find it quite comical that the dogs get the 3rd hardest fixture even tho they played in a grand final
