Go well puppertron.
Here’s one for our caravanning guitarists.
Just put a deposit on a secondhand Strandberg Sälen with a Roland GK hexaphonic pickup added.
A marriage of old school with modern ergonomics and tech.
The rare reverse Flying V!
Anyone had any experience with Melbourne based pickup maker Mr Fabulous? Has a pretty good reputation and very reasonably priced stuff.
They seem decent, prices are very reasonable compared to other makers out there.
I do need some new pups for my Korean made Sheraton but didn’t wanna spend a heap. These might be the way to go
I ended up getting some. The fella who makes em was very easy to talk to and honest. Should get here this week. Be a while before I can get them installed unfortunately. Month or so. But hopefully worth the wait.
Nice what did you go for?
The Supernaturals. Peter Green style. I wanted a lower output vintage style humbucker. And its what the builder suggested
You can install them inphase, which is what I’ll do, as much as I love PG, Im not like a super heavy tone chaser of his by any stretch.
Nice! Do you know where about in Melbourne he’s located? Couldn’t see on his website

I dont think he uses this anymore. I emailed it, no response. Found his ebay shop and messaged him at like 10 at night. He messaged back in minutes. Had a half hour back and fourth. He asked what amps I was running. Everything. Very helpfull.
So, Id forget the website. He seems to just be running on ebay now.
It’s missing a special on the most over saturated fuzz pedal to make all notes unintelligible.
I’ve posted this one before, so I’m doing it again. I’ve played many in between, this is still my favorite, raw accoustic , through amp, through PA.
Nothing beats a guitar made to these standards, regardless of brand.
I just cracked this baby out of its case after 8ish months of not playing. Straight up still in tune.
Just got one of these.
It rips through the headphones. Can’t wait to run it as a preamp into the 100watt Laney and see if it sounds as good.
Getting installed as we speak. Will report back as soon as i get it back. The Les Paul is getting a full set up, including fret nib removal. So Im pretty excited to get it back. Cant wait.
