- Bruceboss is correct, it is The Who, with my fave track of theirs, Baba O’Riley.
No wonder you can’t guess the name of it, it isn’t mentioned in the song. The Baba here is from Meher Baba, Townsend’s fave guru.
- Dogs - Pink Floyd from Animals.
There was a time when the release of a new Pink Floyd was a solemn occasion, to be remembered and treasured. l still remember the first time l heard this album. February 1977, in Lake Toba, via the BBC world radio. That is enough form me. Well done and many thanks to Swoodley for these.

From TNT which I still have on vinyl. These are the original lyrics.

- Boston - Rock n Roll Band.
Cheers mate, this is a good one. Inspired me to drag out some old vinyl. \m/
Man, I’m always too late for these things. Can we have a set day or something?
Man, I'm always too late for these things. Can we have a set day or something?I won't guarantee that I'm right, but I usually post these on Mondays
Man, I'm always too late for these things. Can we have a set day or something?Yeah, nah. l was also late for most of these, until l started scanning for them more regularly. The problem with a set starting date, is that some take longer to answer than others. There is also a fair bit of work involved in writing them.
Still 3 songs to go:
-
In the magic garden / Some were singing, some were dancing / While the midnight moon shone brightly overhead
-
Watching him dash away / swinging an old bouquet - dead roses / Sake and strange divine / Uh-h-h-uh-h-uh you’ll make it
-
If you want to turn me onto / Anything you really want to / Turn me onto your love sweet love
