OK. This is a pretty obscure one that has nothing thematic outside of being lyrics from songs and bands I love. It’s pretty random, but that’s where the interest lies for me. More nineties than anything… Hope it’s entertaining to someone other than me. Whoever gets 7 will (without google research) will be a hero.

You mentioned the snare on Power of Equality.
What do you think of the drums in PiL’s Disappointed.
It doesn’t sound like the drummer is doing anything special, but the drums really stand out to me.
Maybe it’s the mix.

Yeah, it’s more the snare sound ie. Engineering/production. I love the spare drumming as well - that whole album has so much space - which I guess is a Rubin characteristic.

I haven’t listened to Pil, but will do so now and get back to you.
