Thatā€™s a huge surprise to me, I thought weā€™d hang onto Scott to at least the end of the year. But Iā€™m happy with the decision. I wonder what the tipping point was. I hope we go for a young hungry coach who has their own ideas, not a recycled older coach.

None of these A grade rated head coaches or assistants people are mentioning will bother applying. Weā€™ll end up with a handful of lesser rated candidates to pick from and the circus, which is the Essendon football club, will carry on.
