You know who he is, so he’s accomplished something.

At least Richardson is gracious in his exit. Classy words.

Sorry, but that is pretty much the worst piece of analysis on this subject that I have read.

So Brad was an AFL plant, was he? Forced on us by the AFL, when everyone wanted Hird? But the you say we had to work hard to convince Brad to take the job!

So the AFL forced on us someone who worked for them, but who said no when we offered him the job! Well, that’s a good one. I know the AFL is capable of a lot of idiocy, but I think that the more probable explanation for that apparent contradiction is that you don’t actually know anything at all about what actually happened and are talking through your backside.

And in hindsight, you say, we should not have welcomed back the 34 but instead taken the opportunity to blow the club up. Leaving aside the fact that the club was by that time already effectively blown up, you think it would have improved the situation to spit on the faces of those 34 innocent players, or at least some of them. I’m pretty articulate, but at this point words fail me. I’ll just say I disagree.

I was wondering who Richardson was until i saw the shiny scone…Jason Richardson?

I agree with your bit about the 34. we couldn’t just desert them, especially Hooker, Heppell and Hurley who showed unwavering loyalty.

Hird was the preferred candidate. McLachlan told Barham no and Barham said who then? And McLachlan said well then there is Scott.

Oh yes? Were you there? Or are you just repeating something that some conspiracy theorist told you?

Gia is now ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  stoked he is in the final 5 after being left out of the initial final 4.

Fox Footy must have forgotten the poor bugger.

News just in :rolled_up_newspaper: Carlton are interviewing Matty Knights.

Considering the Swans are coming down to Melbourne today as they play the saints tomorrow, it would be strange Welsh going up to meet McVeigh today, might be another reason

So Leigh Matthews great of the game saying that being out of the game as panelist makes it hard to judge if a candidate is up to speed with modern tactics of the game is wrong and Rhino D of Bomberblitz disagrees because it would highlight that not coaching for ten years would be a detriment to his preferred candidate.

Seems about right

:horse_racing:

He was obviously the fly on the wall, Bluey.
