It will be good 80% of the time but only taking the most recent message in a quote kinda sucks too. Stopping the 100000 chain quotes is great, but if you are agreeing with someone's reply to a post, it sorta doesn't show right if that makes sense.
its it worth constructing a front page that explains a bit of what happened and what you need to do regarding the password stuff, and potentially a guestbook that people who have forgotton their passwords can leave a message if need be?

Multi-quote allows you to quote more than one post (obviously). So, that's probably what's going to have to happen now.

Cannot edit my profile or settings. I get some error about a "redirect loop". Have already cleared cookies and that did not fix it. Using Chrome.
Clicking on an avatar/going to a person profile is broken IF the name has spaces in it. The URL will include %20 for the space, a la:
user/528-David%20J%20Richardson/
Error is "too many redirects".
Names without a space work fine.
Please don't let this devolve into people being forced to use names like Smythyisbackandforgothowmuchthisforumhaschangedovertheyears.
the first button in the reply box (the switch) lets you drop back to old school tags. you can also just type them in new fancy mode, as in this example.
