Pogacar has done some good ITT’s in 2021 but nothing near this level - Teams will need to be creative to usurp Pogacar.

That was amazing ride by Pogacar, didnt expect it after Slovenian TT results
hard to know who the rain and wet road helps.
better for first few riders and looks like better for last riders as well.
Portes Ride was ok. Carapaz still in the top 10.

Pogacars performance was way above my expectations. I always look at ten ITT results to obtain a level. In those you may have 2 ITT’s that are poor and one that is exceptionally good. Pogacar has produced the latter. Pogacar did not sandbag the Slovenian ITT, but instead was saving himself to help Mezgec in the RR, so Mezgec could make the BEX team for the TDF. Pogacar dragged Mezgec through the last lap of the RR.

Merlier was not expected to ride the TdF but plans changed after he dropped out of the Giro. The Tour of Turkey has proven to be a strong form race.

Yes. A Cavendish win ensures that Bouhanni doesn’t. 
By rights this should be a Matthews or Sagan stage. Will they be allowed to jump up the road.

you just think if Caleb Ewan was there, would he have won or gone close in the races CAV won.
