The Reigning DJ King (MK III) is @Koala the King Killing Drop Bear is Simply Irresistible

8-5

Nah, they’re not mean, Wim. A 9 inch…errr…song set is obviously superior to a 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 one. The abuse is nothing but envy.

Barnz correcting grammar and caps LOL.

Please add the appropriate acronym to @SMJ @wimmera1 - as they are now recognised members of the DJ King Dynasty of Kings.

My dear departed Dad used to love that ‘joke’
Two Whites don’t make a Wong.

My dad’s favourite was about the Indian guy who had to use the words Yellow, Pink and Green."

Mujibar thought for a few minutes and said, “Mister Manager, I am ready.”

The Manager said, “Go ahead.”

Mujibar said, “The telephone goes green, green, green, and I pink it up, and say, ‘Yellow, this is Mujibar.’”

This thread has become Game Of Thrones-esque. Backstabbing, secret plans and messages, back and forth insults and a mad king who seemingly is either behind it all or has loyal servants giving them all the information.

Power = Corruption

We just need a one armed knight a dwarf and a deadman to save us.

I wish this thread was moving as quickly as they do in Westeros.

A famous cardiologist died and everyone was gathered at his funeral. His coffin was displayed in front of a huge model heart. When the service finished, the heart was opened, the coffin rolled inside and the heart closed. Just at that moment, one of the mourners started laughing. The guy next to him asked, “Why are you laughing?” The mourner said, “Well, I was just thinking about my own funeral.” The man asked, “Well, what’s so funny about that?” And the mourner said, “I’m a gynecologist”.

Well, still 8-5 and I need to go to bed. Up at 0630 so that I can actually do something before the power goes off. Hopefully I’ll get the two I need to spin up my next one. Going from Friday night to a Saturday morning will require a rethink of the set.

This thread/topic has lost the farking plot.

Nearly 200 posts in and only a couple of (crap) songs

I remember the good old days of DJ King Mk I

I also remember how to vote NO for this selection

Nah, dude. We cracked 10K in 28 days in MKII. Averaged 350+ posts per day. Of course, I called it in early May & we were bang on the mark. Only my extreme shyness precluded me from boasting.

These threads have always been lost. And mad. And irrational. And full of insane banter. Good tunes/ bad tunes/ unclassifiable sounds, etc.

MKIII - 4 x KOKs ruling the realm. I will go early & say that a 10-song set will get up in this 3rd edition. 3rd time lucky. Goooooo you peasants.

And while you peasants are all sleeping, I have (while enjoying a nice Japanese whiskey) decided to ramp up the stakes for MKIII.

Here goes.

First DJ King to 10 spins wins a bottle of plonk (ultimately my choice - in conjunction with the winner, but Japanese whiskey, sake, or Aussie red wine - the most likely rewards). I will pay :moneybag: the entire cost of the bottle (including postage). * If you are a teetotaler, you are ■■■■ outta luck.

And to make it fair, you must post at least 200 times in MKIII. In MKII, there were 20 punters who passed this mark. I will not reward a ‘fly by the night’ punter - regardless of how good their set is. This thread works based on contributions (songs, voting, banter, etc). 10,000/200 = 50. So, you have 1/50 chance if all punters play ball. I suspect it will be less, but you never know. Still, decent odds & not costing you much except…um…a job, relationship, time with your kids, etc. The norm.
