I’m no uber-fan of 311 and don’t own any of their records, but I’m not sure I’d call them nu-metal. This song may not indicate it, but their sound was more rock-reggae or Mother’s Milk-era Chilli Peppers than anything.
Besides which, they ■■■■ all over the likes of Korn and Limp Bizkit from a great height.
Quality is horrid.
But I’ve always liked the song. Yes.

Oh yeah…I remember this song.
Vote = YES.
Listening on a laptop doesn’t sound great.
But I have to yes them just for the energy alone.
Bringing that energy in front of what I imagine would have been a still and bemused audience on Letterman gives them even more cred.
