Just out of interest - does that mean what i think it means - that you only like music ‘of your time’ or later?

I think Deckham was overly nasty to me on my last song, so a big no for him.

Would you like some salt with your response?

Nope, just some class.

No, I like stuff before my time that still sounds catchy inventive and influential to stuff that sounds catchy and inventive now. Beatles and Bowie, some krautrock or early electronics, it connects to my impressionable years and even to now for me.

Edit: sorry, I don’t mean to be anti your selection, just trying to explain my own personal subjective choice of why I don’t or can’t get into this type of music.

Nah, just because most people think I vote no just cause, I actually have good reasons and this was one of the few times I could be bothered explaining my thought process. It’s better than a “8th ball yes” votes or “you no voted me last time so no” votes.

I wholeheartedly agree with you, hence my endorsement of your skills. Rolling Stone has a broader readership than Blitz. Shoot em a quick email. It can’t hurt, can it?

Deckham is doing a fair job of mixing rock eras. yes but only just.

P.S. you guys gave The Godfathers 10-0? WTF I played them and almost got voted out and my song was vastly superior.

I’m better looking.

I have that track you played sitting in my favs list btw.
