The stadium is darkā€¦then muted green lights coming up from the stage floor reveal seven Venetian blinds hanging from the roof.

The opening bars of the first song start and, over the next few minutes, each blind goes up to reveal a band member.

Naturally, the last one revealed Bryan Ferry dressed in a tuxedo and looking incredibly cool.

It may not sound much the way Iā€™ve describedā€¦but it was brilliant and has stayed with me for almost forty years.
