The reigning DJ King (Mk VII) is - @Kira with the all time super set of the millenium

Is it just me or does anyone else find it strange seeing a female lead singer ā€œgrowlingā€?

I remember the first time I saw a clip of Jinjer, I had the same reaction

Loved the music, the vocalsā€¦not so much.

I find it refreshing. They were some great death metal vocals - beyond the gender question. The music was ok. A bit of an At The Gates feel (is that who Iā€™m thinking of?) Maybe, Converge. Maybe neither. Anyway. YES.

P.S. Is there anything Chip and Joanna Gaines canā€™t do?

I didnā€™t really like this song, but I went and listened to some of their other songs. So have a yes.

Yes. We had these guys before, a backyard show clip, right? Nice stuff.

Their song about Collingwood is pretty good.

Nope. Always felt the whole growl/scream thing was really just a band desperate for a lead singer. Would have preferred that as a straight musical piece without the vocals.

Sorry. No from me.

Similar to lifetimeā€™s comments.

Saw them live last week at Download and the band sounded good but just didnā€™t dig her growl singing.

Well thatā€™s a first in the thread. Saw them live last week but still giving a no. Harsh!
