I am in aus for the school holidays. Seems a bigger deal here than Singapore. Mostly to sell chocolate though.

Singapore a real mix of everything, Buddhist, Muslim, Hindu, Christian. Public holidays for all.

The Christians in Singapore tend to be the ghastly evangelical prosperity churches. Plenty of people have been locked up for graft and corruption. Very cult like. They can raise tens of millions of $$ in a weekend fleecing punters looking for a ticket into heaven.

My next set I will play a song by the wife of the leading evangelical church in Singapore.

I honestly forget that it is Easter every year. One of my clients once tried to explain to me why the date changes every year (something about the equinox & full moon or something). Once I explained that I am a Zen Buddhist, he closed down the convo. I know he was thinking 変な外人。:laughing:
