Yes to Interpol, no to the Clash.
Sorry dude but that did less for me than a Rosanne Barr Playboy centrefold.
No.

Ouch!
As if you wouldnātā¦
I heard he triedā¦but she knocked him back (and heās never gotten over it)
Hmmmā¦big day JRā¦onto your 4th song
Yes for The Oils,
No for whatever the following piece of crap was
Yes for Interpol
No for The Clashā¦man, that was bog average
My fav song from that album. Itās about American GIs who impregnated Vietnamese lasses during the Vietnam War & bailed back to the States (alone) - forcing the ladies to give birth & raise fatherless kids. You can hear the angst in Joeās voice.
The ladies deserved more empathy from you, Swoods.
Noā¦they donāt
How many have you sired?
I have never been to Vietnamā¦I am completely innocent of all charges your honour
YES
3-4
Iām torn. Itās The Clash. Butā¦ itās a bog average song from by far their worst album - I donāt count Cut The Crap which is effectively a (terrible) Strummer solo album.
I mean, Combat Rock is two great singles and bog-all else really.
The barest of bare, bare yesses (call it a carryover yes for The Oils if you likeā¦).
Donāt make me regret itā¦
Have a yes. I like songs with stories in them.

Nup
yes
6-5
Pretty much this. But also minus points for playing Joy Division-lite in the same set as JDā¦ hmmm, just a yes.
Redundant yes but not a memorable clash track
Itās reminded me to rewatch that ridiculous movie.
