Is it just me or does anyone else find it strange seeing a female lead singer āgrowlingā?
I remember the first time I saw a clip of Jinjer, I had the same reaction
Loved the music, the vocalsā¦not so much.

I find it refreshing. They were some great death metal vocals - beyond the gender question. The music was ok. A bit of an At The Gates feel (is that who Iām thinking of?) Maybe, Converge. Maybe neither. Anyway. YES.

Nope. Always felt the whole growl/scream thing was really just a band desperate for a lead singer. Would have preferred that as a straight musical piece without the vocals.
