The reigning DJ King (Mk VIII) is @somebody else

Getting better than what?

But have a yes so you don’t end up in the song of shame showdown in 18 months time.

Better than the other junk that’s been played this set.

I’ll give it a yes to keep the cliffhanger alive

And while I’m here, have been listening to this podcast re Woodstock, and the newly release 36 hours of recordings (everything!).

Reckon a few here will enjoy

Thanks for stepping up @Azza78

Hadn’t heard them before. They sound sloppy, but I sort of liked the song.

YES.

They’re awesome. One of the grunge pioneers. Touch Me I’m Sick (played already in these here parts) is a classic.

Yes

Didn’t realise they’d already been played in here.

They featured in my sob story about the origins of Grunge being in Melbourne. Mudhoney visited Melbourne several times and took cues from Kim Salmon, Beasts of Bourbon, Nick Cave etc. There was “grunge” in Melb well before the seppos got hold of it.

I’d have taken that moment to get a drink from the bar, but it didn’t suck.
