Interesting sound, yes.
Yes
I’ll get flame trees for this. But they’re, so, so, so, SO overrated.
Enjoy a NO
Also a no from me. Has been flogged way too much, and I just find it to be a bogan anthem.
Obviously yes.
So much yes that I am totally judging anyone who votes this no.
Particularly anyone who votes this no after voting Celibate Rifles without the charm forty years later yes.
It almost seems like you mean that as a bad thing?
I actually greatly dislike Jimmy Barnes.
But not this song.
Yes.
Over-rated in comparison to what…Hanoi Rocks?
Friggin’ Reaaaaaally?!!!
If it comes on the radio I change station, so in this instance yes!
I get it, it’s a generational thing, like the Beatles. I just don’t rate them
But you rate Hanoi Rocks.
The fact I have to google Hanoi Rocks might tell you something…let me check
Edit: can’t recall them, but they look ■■■■
I dunno…I really don’t.
I mean on one level it’s just a great song.
On another level it’s so very much better, in musicianship, in melody, in meaning, than tracks that have just been passed through 10-1, where I was the 1.
And on a third level, this is DJ King.
And this is a stone cold get out of jail DJ floor-filling classic the likes of which are few and far between.
But sure, you can vote no.
You can make it the new Two Princes.
But if it gets voted down I suggest we rename the thread Augogo Records wanker retail King.
Thanks but I was just posting the track for @AnnStBomber who went on a wine tour bender today
No. Nope. Negatory.
I mean, it’s kinda always been that. Watching people pretend to hate classics is one of the drawcards to the thread for me.
But in all honesty, I’d say there are more people in here that genuinely don’t like Khe Sanh, than there were people who genuinely didn’t like Under The Bridge when that got caned. (Or to use a more self-serving example, Guerilla Radio.)
3-3
Shots fired
Anyone who’s been in a cover band has every right to hate Khe San.
‘Play something good! Play something we know! Play Khe…’
‘Well, I hope you’re all Frank Zappa fans…’
