I dunno…I really don’t.
I mean on one level it’s just a great song.
On another level it’s so very much better, in musicianship, in melody, in meaning, than tracks that have just been passed through 10-1, where I was the 1.
And on a third level, this is DJ King.
And this is a stone cold get out of jail DJ floor-filling classic the likes of which are few and far between.
But sure, you can vote no.
You can make it the new Two Princes.
But if it gets voted down I suggest we rename the thread Augogo Records wanker retail King.

I mean, it’s kinda always been that. Watching people pretend to hate classics is one of the drawcards to the thread for me.
But in all honesty, I’d say there are more people in here that genuinely don’t like Khe Sanh, than there were people who genuinely didn’t like Under The Bridge when that got caned. (Or to use a more self-serving example, Guerilla Radio.)
