Recorded/released during the first Bush presidency, it got a second wind during the reign of Dubya at the turn of the millennium…

Liked the pace to begin with, then dropped away too much for me.

Yes, but I wasn’t a huge fan.

Well that was a disappointment after a great start

But it was better than the previous efforts so I feel that I must support you and hope that you continue to move in a positive direction

So have a small Yes

Coffin Break, there’s a blast from the past! Brings memories of C/Z Records, early Epitaph, Cruz, bands like Chemical People, Treepeople (still a big fave). Yes from me.

Decidedly ropey vocals, with the lyrics of a year 11 student whose parents have just gotten divorced and who summoned up all their courage to ask a girl to the prom, who promptly laughed in his face and turned him down.

However, I liked the melody and the music.

Yeah, Coffin Break’s vocals could be hit or miss but they came up with some kickin’ riffs.

Treepeople. Now there’s a band I have listened to in forever.

Doug Martsch wrote some cracking tunes in that band before leaving to form Built To Spill. The other singer matched him at times too.

It’s a no from me, basically due to the laziness of the song structure.
I think there’s a reasonable song in there, but the way they’ve set it out is not it.

Built to Spill got more of the hype but I tend to prefer Treepeople’s stuff.

Sounds like a Yes to me

What, you mean like… Art?
