It’s the hardest decade. By the third round do the punters just want that 80s cheesy excess, or do you go seminal with any of the myriad of genres that formulated during that time. Or just play The Cure for 15 solid votes from those who hated everything else.

I listened to a 1960s themed radio staion for several hours today. I heard a lot of great music but nothing at all stands out. It’s all so pop; hard to find interesting nuggets from that era.

You’re unlikely to find “nuggets” on a 60s themed radio station…they’ll just play all the classics
But there were plenty of bands from that era that you would probably like…you just need to find them
