Swoodley has listened to the entire back catalogue of Nightwish to find a song he hasn’t played previously
Appropriate
I’ve definitely seen one of them. Was pretty good.
A round full of dance tracks, with the odd Strokes, White Stripes, QOTSA, Arctic Monkeys and Coldplay tracks splattered between.
You got this @BAAKKEERRRR
Reckon MGMT, LCD sound system and block party will get a run.
Lots of good bands from the late 00’s Pitchfork type bands that don’t translate to DJK sigor rus, arcade fire, National, bon ivor, Sufjan Stevens, Fleet foxes. So doubt we see them.
And crazy will play Radiohead.
Crazy in love, Gwen stafani and hey ya for some pop.
It’s a great decade of music.
Not sure why there is such negativity towards it.
FFS @swoodley they’re discussing the Melbourne rave scene and posting Coldplay gif’s.
HURRY UP AND GET HOME!!!
So…The 00s…the decade where you really had to get away from the radio/tv/mainstream if you wanted to find good music.
Basically, there was a lot of utter rubbish in this decade but we must remember that fateful day in 2007 when I wandered into 78 Records in Hay Street and had the joyous moment of listening to Nightwish for the first time.
This bunch of songs makes me happy that I’m running the comp and don’t actually have to listen to anything…there’s maybe half a dozen that I’d be happy to play…probably a few more that I would like…and the less said about the rest…the better
