It’s funny that an iteration of overly commercial rock never came back. It seemed to happen every ten years.
Glam rock which got countered by punk then hair metal which got countered by grunge, then Nu metal got countered by post punk revival. That cheesy period countered by an alternate movement just stopped repeating

Well, I’ve just finished listening to “Follow The Leader”
A few good tracks but a lot of, how should I say, not so good.
If that’s one of their best, I think I’ll forgo listening to anymore.

Just watching the Woodstock ‘99 doco on Netflix.
Hard to give Korn a yes after watching all the f.wit douchebags that listened to that ■■■■ living their ‘best life’.
