@swoodley, These are the official Paul_Peos votes.
The 80’s. The gift I feel unworthy of receiving.

Faith No More - From out of nowhere
Gosh, this takes me back. I remember one particular evening at the local discotheque, I struck up a fascinating conversation with one particularly intelligent young lady. She had kind eyes and interesting opinions, and I hope she went on to achieve great things with her life.

Talking Heads - Road to nowhere
Did somebody say family holidays at the beach? Boy oh boy, this takes me straight back there. Sitting on a beach towel, mellow yellow in one hand, bubble-o-bill in the other, and I’d just spend my days educating local ruffians about the dangers of feeding paracetamol to sea birds

Duran Duran - Hungry like the wolf
This always seemed to be playing over the radio whenever I had dinner at Barnacle Bill’s.
2 Votes - The Clash - Rock the Casbah
I remember a group of us singing this while sitting around a camp fire at a musical theatre rehearsal camp. Oh, to be young again.
1 Vote Sabrina - Boys boys boys
This reminds me of an ex-girlfriend. She ended our relationship while this song was playing. I accepted her decision, and we are still good friends to this day.
Well, that’s me done. Thank you all so much for your kind hospitality. You are a wonderful bunch of humans, with great personalities and prosperous futures.
5 - OMD - Enola Gay
Have always enjoyed this track and in its many forms…
4 - Talking Heads - Road to Nowhere
Driven it.
3 - Gurus - Death Defying
Oh-Wee
2 - LRB - Playing to Win
Played in all footy clubs before a big game, but only ever after the Rocky theme, i can smell the liniment oil, the Norsca. And taste the Stimorol gum and that last gasp of a Winnny Blue.
1 - Sunny Boys - Happy Man
Have this on 45, probably purchased along with 2 Fergie pies and a large Banana Big M from Downtown Coburg.
Don’t mind their Rap Rock stuff, the crossover was kinda dodgy, cheesy but I can’t shake how iconic it was, they pulled it off. The early stuff was the cream.
I know Rock Box gets a lot of love, but I find it a tough listen despite how groundbreaking it was. It’s Like That is so good, pinnacle electro sounds, kills that Nevins version.
I hated that version until I found out he only got 500 bucks for it but hate it a little less now. Who knows they may have commissioned him to do it in a couple hours?
Well that was one of the worst sets I’ve ever had the miss pleasure of listening to. Horrible boring beige cardigan wearing crap. Most of you could have picked a U2 song and it would have been more interesting
5 REM orange crush, I don’t even like REM, I don’t really like this song but at least it’s good.
4 Killing Joke eighties
3 sunny boys happy man
2 Bowie fashion - man is he off his face on coke in this video!
WTF was that Mike Oldfeild track, I don’t think it was possible to take the pizz more than tubular bells but that’s a stinker. Probably too much coke in the eighties.
And Billy farken Brag, what on earth makes people think I want to listen to some smarmy bastard at an open mike warble on about some working class socialist bollocks. Needed more coke in the eighties.
