The Reigning Dj King (Mk XIII) is @nobody...it's Blonde DJ Time again with @mrjez being at his divisive best (Part 1)

The only thing stopping The Holy Grail from getting a run was its year of release (1992, thank fark…)

My original votes were
Cowboy Junkies - Cover
Faith no more - not really 80’s sound
Rem- repeat
Talking heads - repeat
The clash-Repeat

I actually considered most of these and discounted under previous rules, so went for songs that had not been played before and actually sounded like 80’s songs

Bring on the final round, I am sure it will be full of repeats and popular ad nauseam

And - Tubthumping! - 1997

Holy Grail is the one that gets me. I’m sure Mark Seymour’s bank manager is very happy with it, but I find it incredibly sad that a very large proportion of the population know of H&C purely for that piece of utter dreck.

Like what your going to make me listen through a dozen 5+ min songs as punishment or something.

What proportion of a 5+ minute song has to be listened to in order to form a considered opinion?

Asking for a friend…

No…I’ll drop you to the reserves and bring Peos in

As much as you need to make a judgement on the merits (or otherwise) of the song

Who are you punishing me or him?

I fear the final might just be the extended mix versions of the same ■■■■ we’ve just endured.

Oh ■■■■… I’ve just given the jolly japesters here some ideas haven’t I?
