Finally I could be myself.
An Argument With Myself
Jens Lekman · Song · 2011
Finally I could be myself.
Alright I’m gonna go somewhere different again
Bit of London Jazz , dunno if this will get me another spin but it’s worth a go
Sticking to the theme of a little bit different I see. But it was also a bit ho hum.
Thankfully for you, I’m an acceptor of mediocrity.
Yep.
Don’t let Mrs Klawdy see this
my foot started tapping and I sung the chorus
Yep
Dug the bass.
Got you the yes.
The video was atrocious.
Well she clearly is also.
Free yes
2 yesses
Yes
Enjoyed, it’s a yes
Alright let’s head over to everyone’s favourite Swedish turned Melbournian Jens Lekman for his quirky little song ‘an argument with myself’
Always guaranteed to put a smile on my face, I hope it does for you as well
Jens Lekman · Song · 2011
You say quirky…I say annoying
No!
That was not my cup of bonnox. But I’ll give it a first set yes.
The encouragement award, if you will.
I should’ve warned you last round.
I’m sorry, for you, that I didn’t.
That was my worst nightmare.
No.
My last free yes.
Goddam…
It’s been an honour but I’ve blown it
Don’t panic…you’re reaching the stage of group acceptance…it’s when everyone feels comfortable enough to be honest with their assessments of people’s songs.
This is a good thing for you
And the score is 2-2 so there’s plenty of votes (and comments) still to come
Jens Morrissey was definitely not my cuppa Twinings. There was something just a little bit of cheesy about it (especially the percussion elements). If I want a Smiths fix, I’ll go to the real thing.
A very generous free yes…
It’s been an honour but I’ve blown it
No you haven’t.
Just shows you care.
At first the scathing reviews cut deep, then it’s a badge of honour.
And it makes it all the sweeter when you get to vote out a nemesis…
