FYI - Robbie was amazing. He is an absolute entertainer.
Robbie clearly didn’t inspire you ![]()
Robbie didn’t start singing til 1990, disco was so finished by then.
Yes…but I thought he might have inspired some better voting from you ![]()

Waiting for Round 2 votes from:
@Preliminary_Point2
@Split_Infinity
@Stan_The_Apprentice (has been online and said votes are on the way)
@wimmera1
Please get them in ASAP so we can let people know who needs to pick a Repechage Round song.
Confirming the theme for The Repechage Round is:
A track from the artist’s fifth (5th) studio album.
(No greatest hits, live, EP’s etc)
If you’re unclear, ask me ![]()
No chance, did I miss your song again?
Maybe ![]()

Done!
5 Donna Summer - I Feel Love
4 Shiela & B Devotion - Spacer
3 Earth Wind & Fire - Boogie Wonderland
2 Lipps Inc. - Funkytown
1 Tantra - Hills Of Katmandu
Re the Lizzy - Fire track, if Siouxsie Sioux had ever released a disco tune, that would be it.
Finalising repechage song now @swoodley
@swoodley are all losers through to repecharge? Asking for a friend
So, this will be my last word on Disco Round, and then I’ll close the book on it and pretend it never happened.
This “Spacer” track has that compact, clean, choppy rhythm guitar throughout. It couldn’t be, could it? So I do a bit of research… written & produced by… yep, you betcha… Nile Rodgers.
The defense rests, your honour…
Wow some of that was terrible.
Voting for disgo(not sure what genre done if that was), focusing on the deeper cuts
5- Lizzy Mercier Descloux - Fire this was genuinely really good, easy 5 votes
4 Gino Soccio - Dancer
3 Goody Goody - It Looks Like Love
2 The Immortals - The Ultimate Warlord
1 Tantra - Hills Of Katmandu
I thought Immortals might’ve been yours.
Based on PP2’s votes, I’m pretty sure I now know which is his. I’d narrowed it to 3 or 4, and the votes have knocked all the others out.

More clarification: 5th album as that artist…eg Neil Young as a solo artist…or Neil Young & Crazy Horse…
Also, I am using wiki as my go to for checking so if you’re unsure, try there.

I was worried that I might have some serious FOMO not being in this comp, but then I just saw the disco round and songs…
I’m good.
Now this is a good theme.
