It’s all @mrjez’s fault.

I offered him the opportunity to run this comp.

Don’t stuff this up, like another DJ master did (who shall not be named), and robbed a current contestant of glory.

So anyway… an unnamed host of Blond DJ comps once told me the odds of two DJ’s picking the same song are really, really long and that it’s very unlikely to happen…

I’m pretty sure that that same unnamed host gave a certain unnamed participant honest feedback on the quality of his round 1 song.

Feedback which was subsequently ignored (allegedly) and which ended up with said unnamed participant participating in the Repechage Round.

Ive heard the odds of this happening are only exceeded by the odds that song is actually any good…

What’s the theme?

Um…is Boogaloo Joe Jones a theme?

It is if you say it is (and are running the comp)

I would’ve just changed their song and given them a tune from Right Said Fred’s 5th album.

I found one from a 2024 album. I feel it would meet the intent of the rules, but not the letter of them. And we all know Swoods is a stickler for the letter of the law

Now you’re just making sh*t up.

How can an album have been released in 2024 when it’s still only 2023?

I am gobsmacked…I checked Right Said Fred’s discography thinking there’s no way they could have been given money to male that many albums…but I was wrong…they’ve released 9 studio albums.
