Serious answer:
It’s a competition that we run in here from time to time where the person running it picks themes for each round.
Each player nominates a song (that meets the theme of the round) and then sends a youtube link to the organiser so that nobody else knows what song they’ve selected.
Once all the songs are in, the organiser posts them all one after another, everyone then listens to each song (or not if they prefer) and then votes on a 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 basis (with the 5 votes going to the song they like the most etc)
After each round, the votes are tallied up and the organiser does a reveal of the votes.
After the 2nd Round, the organiser tallies up each player’s combined votes and,
(depending on the number of competitors), a certain number of players go straight through to the final round.
The rest go into the Repechage Round for a last chance to get into the final…usually between 2-4 places are available at that stage.
Then we have the final where only the lucky few get to enter a song for the chance at Eternal Glory and Fame (or to just sh*tpost at everyone else)
Repechage Round and Final Round voting are always “blind” ie votes are sent via PM to the organiser who reveals them once all votes are in. This is to prevent (certain well known) players from trying to vote strategically.
Edit: Lots, and I do mean lots, of generally humourous sh*tposting happens throughout the lifespan of the comp…it’s all part of the fun.

Just so you know @Nexta if your song choice doesn’t get any votes thats called a swoodley. It’s named in honour of the first man to achieve that cough feat .
