With yours, the beer was supposed to say Wanker beer, and the T-Shirt say Live, but it chose to switch them around, and put a cat on there for some reason.
Who am I to argue?

No you don’t
Well it seemed good in theory…
Another few for the morning
KJ is a man who doesn’t really know what genre he fits into. He loves hardcore EDM, and heavy metal, which makes very little sense. KJ is a previous winner of this competition, and an overall top bloke who I can’t really say too many bad things about.
When asked for comment, KJ replied “Damare peosu, naze watashi o nihonjin ni shita no?”
The matriarch of bomberblitz, Koala is only a part-timer in the blonde DJ world. Many years back, she actually held the crown in the regular DJ king game (back when that mattered) but has never been able to really crack it in the blonde dj format. When asked for comment, Koala replied “Jobe Watson is still really hot.”
He sure is, Koala. He sure is.
If Koala is the matriarch of Blitz, then Hoffy is the matriarch of Blonde DJ. One of the OG members of this crazy group, Hoffy has been through everything DJ king has had to offer, and managed to close her ears to some of the more disturbing stories shared in here. You’ll still hear Hoffy talk about gigs that she is going to, because she is still that cool.
I was too shy to reach out to Hoffy for a comment.
Hoffy looks like a punk Statue of Liberty haha
Blonde DJ came at a good time for peos, hot on the back of a loss to fark carlton followed by a by weekend to leave us all wallowing in our misery…
First rule of DJ King club.
You do not talk about footy!
(but yes, the timing is great)
A few more…
A previous winner and regular finalist of blonde DJ, PP2 has been annoying punters for years with his strategic voting, his stubborn refusal to vote until the very end, and his comical inability to bring headphones to work to listen to songs. But to me, he’ll always be the guy who shat himself so hard on his first ever DJ king spin, that he played an Eddie Murphy song.
I tried to call PP2 for comment, but apparently he had no headphones that day.
The youngest Blonde DJ participant by a large margin, Tinhill is a cool, young, hip kid who lives in the inner northern suburbs. (Although he hates to tell people that.) While often struggling to relate to the much older crowd in here, TinHill still lists a bunch of early 90’s bands as his favourites, and seems to have an intimate knowledge of late 80’s and 90’s pop culture. Go figure.
When asked for comment, TinHill’s mum told us that he couldn’t talk, as he had to do homework
The current incumbent of the regular DJ King booth, Crazy is currently on day 5,405, and song number 3. Crazy and I were once vicious sparring partners back in the old days when I was DJ King, and he was the guy that had the third or fourth-most songs played, but we’ve both grown up a little since then.
While unlikely to ever win Blonde DJ, he’s always good value, and while we are friends these days, I still didn’t want to call that little ■■■■ for a comment.
Anyway, first round song is submitted @swoodley .
Was more difficult than I’d anticipated as most of the songs I wanted to play were too short. My #1 choice clocked in approx 5 secs short of the 3 min minimum FFS
Ok, last lot this morning as i really need to get some work done and also pick some songs at some stage. Plus, I feel this concept may have run its course.
Something a bit different for this lot:
It’s important to remember the DJ King legends who are either no longer on Blitz, or not in this thread much anymore. These DJ’s helped make this competition what it is.
JR is a living legend of DJ king, who has now moved himself onto twitter/X for reasons that nobody can work out. He held the OG DJ King crown multiple times, and is still the only DJ to win Blonde DJ twice. (And he was only here for three of them). A master of dossiers, DJ research and PM’s, he made this game what it is, and nobody has ever played it better.
Cheers JR, we wish you’d come back one day.
Kira once spun a regular DJ King set that was so good, and went for so long, that it ruined the regular DJ King competition forever. He has the title of forever king, and was a fantastic member of the Blonde DJ community. Even if he did do hari-kari all the time to keep his ‘average’ up.
Cheers Kira, we hope you come back one day too.
While he’s still around and has competed in recent events, I needed a third person to fill out this legends section. And Deckham has made quite the contribution to DJ King. He was the inventor of the “5 after 7, carry the 9, subtract 8 and multiply by 𝝅, then press sin, cos or tan on the calculator” scoring system. Although it never really took off. He also has the most unique voting system, ranking each song out of 100 and then posting those scores.
I tried to reach out to Deckham, but his assistant said that he was in a meeting.
Ok I’m in
Can’t wait to play a song from the only band I know of from the 60s - The Beatles

I do enjoy the quirks of AI. The cat was of particular interest. I thought there must have been some @Azza78 crossover.
Would seem appropriate given my crp music taste
1960s. FFS.
When does the 60e end?
It’s always fun watching Frosty catch up on things.
Such a hard question…let me think…would the 60s possibly end in 1969…or would it be something like 1970…which doesn’t have a 6 in it?
Hmmm…I think I’ll make it easy for you…your song needs to have been released somewhere between 1/1/1960 and 31/12/1969.
I hope this clears up any uncertainty that you might have.
Please have a lovely day and may your song be loved by the voters.
The best part of the 60’s, was Feb 1994
