It’s a very odd little film. I did have quite a thing for Rose Byrne back then too, which might have a lot to do with my liking of it.

Oh, I know who Rose is… she’s a cutie. Particularly liked her (read: fancied her) in that Aus flick which had Heath Ledger in it, as well as Bryan Brown playing a drug baron/hitman.

Moderate yes.
A mate dragged me along to see The Sharp last night. Had an unexpectedly good time. They were always a good live band and had a clutch of natty singles.
Replacing one member with a cover band singer and the double bassist from The Living End had me skeptical, but they carried it off pretty well. You can tell Scott Owen is a pro… he underpinned the whole thing. It’d be a fair while since he’s lugged his own ■■■■ around and played to a hundred or so punters, but he took to it well.
Not a skivvy in sight though…
