Someone didn’t choose their Youtube link very wisely (or maybe they did…)… it’ll certainly sort out who listens and who doesn’t…

Since no-one else has posted and it can’t hurt voting, I am so mad at myself for not cleaning up All Of The Fives with this.

No reference… just trying to work out if the Youtube link used for one of the selections was deliberate or accidental. Depending on where people lie with the artist in question, it could’ve been a genius move…

All filler no killer.
lots had something going then just failed right out.
The club song may have got a yes if the theme was mediocre.
Saints song would have been a better choice.

5 - Paul Westerburg - Vampires & Failures
4 - Black Snake Moan - The Losing Kind
3 - Reverend & The Makers - Heavyweight Champion
2 - The Neighbourhood - Afraid
1 - Neutral Milk Hotel - King Of Carrot Flowers

Ratcats song getting away from it all, off the Tingles Ep is another that may have snagged a few votes

Noice.

5 votes - Rev & the Makers - Heavyweight Champion - a new one for me, quite enjoyed it.
4 votes - Biff - You Are All My Enemies - better vox and it might’ve got full marks.
3 votes - Paul Westerberg - Vampires & Failures - not a patch on his 'Ments work, but good enough.
2 votes - Flaming Lips - Sound of Failure - considered this one myself
1 vote - Offspring - Self Esteem - gets a vote for the nostalgia factor.

Not as much of a slog as I’d feared…
5 votes Black Snake Moan (John Doe) - The Losing Kind (liked this A LOT!)
4 votes Band of Horses - No-one’s Gonna Love You
3 votes King Crimson - Epitaph (KC wisely shelving the sax from this one).
2 votes Biff - You Are All My Enemies (like a weird cross between Wolfmother and Tame Impala, but better than either of them).
1 vote Flaming Lips - Sound of Failure (lost votes with the pointless noodling at the end)

Notes:
-As obvious a selection as it was, one song would’ve fared far, far better had it not been posted in the version it was.
-One song would be far better than it is, if the whole farking album it’s from hadn’t been recorded and mixed to sound like it was recorded on a mobile phone sitting inside someone’s pocket.
-If I didn’t feel so much like a beaten wife when it comes to this entity (i.e. keep going back for more and can’t tear myself away even though they treat us so poorly, I hate them even though I love them etc. etc.), if I didn’t currently find this entity so pitiful and most things about them so triggering right now, one song may have gotten votes.
