That is worth 100 times more than any top 5 draft pick will ever be.

We should not be making the finals until we can legitimately say, ‘we are a chance at winning the premiership’.

you only win finals by playing in them. and usually have to lose a few to work out how to win.
we learnt a lot more in getting spanked by Sydney last year than any home and away game.

If any players, to coaches, to supporters don’t believe this club can win a premiership… than we are wasting our time in making the finals.
No one honestly believes we can win the premiership in 2018.
Playing finals ‘just because’… is not a good enough reason… and will lead to us getting belted in the first final once again.

If we start to find consistency for 4 quarters, across the last half of the season, and total buy-in of the game plan… than yes.
It’s far more important than draft picks imo.

Could be that they are concerned that Stefan Martin will once again run rings around TBC, giving the Bears first use at clearances?
I would think that after we get taken to the cleaners against the Weagles in a couple of weeks, Clarke will get a fair run of it then to see what he is capable of.
Actually think it’s because Myers provides the experience in the midfield we’ve lost with Zaharakis being out injured.

Absolutely, Melbourne has been getting draft pick number 5s who are elite mids every year since 2007 and now look at how awesome they are. Everyone knows that bottoming out is the surest way to win a premiership.
