Senior coach Ben Rutten takes us through the team to face the Saints on Saturday afternoon.

As revealed on Thursday , Perkins and Waterman will become the club’s latest AFL debutants since Harrison Jones and Nik Cox since round one.

The pair will be part of a 13-man contingent to have played less than 50 games, with the Bombers set to field their most inexperienced side (61 games per player) since round 22, 2010.

Stringer’s return will free up forward Peter Wright to shoulder the ruck load, with second-year ruckman Nick Bryan named an emergency and journeyman Andrew Phillips set to return from injury in the VFL on Saturday.

The Bombers will take on the Saints from 4:35pm AEDT. Check out our match preview and match-day guide .

In Hooker we trust

Happy with the changes. BZT gets his chance. Hopefully Waterman can snag a few. Parish named as our on baller.
Perkins will hopefully bring some intensity to the contest.
Stringer returns!
Lots to look forward to regardless of whether we win or lose but I feel like we could possibly give the Saints a shake up if we turn up switched on.

Never want to see Gleeson in the team ever again, unless we lose half the team from injury, why the hell did rutten put Gleeson in the team in the first place, there’s no position for him

Interesting that he has been named as an emergency.
